Access to dental services is available for OAMS clients who have accessed OAMS services for 6-12 months or more, are either a priority and/or primary client for more than 12-months and who have a current OAMS Aboriginal Health Check or OAMS Adult or Child Health Check.

Treatments offered include:

  • Comprehensive oral examinations, check-ups and cleans
  • Restorations
  • Wisdom tooth removal, simple extractions
  • Root canal treatment
  • Dentures
  • Treat under relative relative analgesi (at a cost)
  • Treatment of emergencies and relief of pain
  • Mouth guards/night guards
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Public dental vouchers accepted at OAMS

Oral Health Therapy

Our professional Oral Health Therapists, qualified in dental therapy and dental hygiene, provided a wide range of dental care for children, adolescent and adult clients. Oral health therapists can also work in health promotion, education, research and management and policy development roles.

Dentist

Our qualified dentists provide a wide range of dental care for children, adolescents and adults. Clinical assessment, comprehensive oral examinations, diagnosis and treatment is offered to eligible dental clients according to the OAMS Oral Health policies and procedures.
